So my car has been out of commission for a year now and I finally saved some money, bought a motor, installed the motor car runs fine and everything but one problem I seem to not be able to find out whats wrong. I rev the car and the screen on the gauge cluster says "Oil Press. STOP....STOP...STOP" release the gas and it goes away. Any one know what might be causing the problem? I checked all my pipings and lines nothings being pinched and all my sensors seem to be plugged in. Only thing i Dont have is the airbox but the maf is on to the TIP. Need some of your guys' say here.

*note i had a sludged motor previously. Possible my pipings need to be flushed?

Sounds like a sludge problem. Or the pickup is clogged, and not allowing enough oil to enter. either way, i'd do the diesel cleanse and to make sure the new motor isn't sludged/

the thing is i had a sludge problem on my previous motor except that this time it doesn't say check coolant STOP STOP etc. I am thinking i just need to flush my system out because there might be some sludge residue still inside? maybe i should seafoam the whole thing.

If it's only coming on when you raise the RPM's you can probably save it from being damaged. Remove your oil pan and inspect. If you don't have the cash to replace the pick up tube at this time, give the old one a hefty cleaning.

If you want to "flush" the nastiness out, I'd do the seafoam for ~20mins or so (idling only) before draining and checking the pickup tube/screen.
