Blown K04

So one of my K04s went bad. making the dentist drill noise. It isnt blowing smoke yet tho.

Where is the best place to have them rebuilt? Im thinking about doing K04/RS6 as the rebuild.

What do you think this will cost?

I bought a pair of ko4/24s from a member on here and had them installed at a shop. One might be on the way out no smoke either. I'm in FL, any shops that rebuild close by?

I was running like 23-24 Psi on AWE tune.

Yea, but i think it has shaft play. So the center section will prolly have to be replaced. It has started to make a little bit of smoke now under hard boost.

welcome to my world bro its gonna start to blow smoke like my k04's do/did (the motors out and turbos are goin to borg as you read this) oh and btw i had like less than 2 months when they started to grind and now recently b4 i took it apart the blowed smoked as well ... oh and i was running 15psi on stage 3 minus lol

shit sorry i didnt get back 2u i forgot about this thread..the previous owner of my car gave em to me..the boxes had never even been opened from when they were shipped to him last year...they were on back order so he ended up ordering 2 new ko4s lol and kept the chras...if he can find the other blown ko4 and the good one he said he'll give them to me and id like to sell them as a package...
