Got the engine built at 4am on Sunday morning. Everything started right up with the exception of two connectors that we forgot to plug in but after plugging them in the car has been running like a champ.
So far I have only received one CEL for my SAI system which I get every few months so I just cleared it out and all is well again.
Had a minor scare today when the car stalled out on the the road but it ended up being a loose intercooler pipe blowing off.
So far I have put over 50 miles on the build and it is working great. The southbend stage 5 clutch feels so much better than the stocker and I'm not sure if it's just me or not but the car feels stronger than it did before the re-build even just after 50 miles.
Can't wait to get all the bungs and piping welded up so I can swap out the turbo and get this show on the road.
P.S. - The chatter from a LWFW is definitely not bad for anyone on the fence about getting one. This is my daily driver and I am very surprised how quiet the chatter is.
