RS4 Wheels on Santorin, I tried!

Im not very photo savy but I tried on this one... I sold my RS4 reps to Sebastian today (nebone22) to free up some money for more go fast stuff for my A4... We took some pics afterwards and they came out ok but I decided to use some photo editing software that was sent to me by my mother... Let me know how I did, Ill post one original a bit later after everyone comments for a bit, I tried hard Sebastian btw

Im not sure man, some fancy camera my mom got since shes all into photography... Sebastian was trying to show her how to use all the features because there is so damned many lol... We just went 100 yards down the street from my house and shot, no tinkering with the camera... Think he couldve done much better but Ill let him say that for sure

Yea really...why did those pics come out so bad at first? Only the middle one looks photoshopped and rest right out of the camera. I really like these wheels man; even my girlfriend likes them and she never notices the small changes. Once in a while changes to the car make me feel like its a new car all over again. So here is my brief wheel history.

OEM Celebration wheels. Looks like the RS4 wheels but are 17x7.5 and the hub is towards the inside of the car. Lovely wheels (winters)


Here are some TSW wheels I bought to have 18s from this sexy Santorin S4, but got got rid of them the same week and made cash on them. Never liked them.


Here are my Enkei LM1 wheels I had for 1.5 years that I just sold. Really liked those.


And now the B5 RS4 reps as of today. Favorite so far.

descent composition jake, but be eaaaazy with the contrast and saturation adjustments. sometime's it looks better on the screen when you make them but when using a jpeg, it slowly gets destroyed with every change you make (contrast, brightness, cropping, saturation etc... even rotating)

i dunno what fancy camera your mom picked up but the original pics are completely washed out, go to menu and click original or default settings to see how it looks.

quick tip for contrast, find something in the picture that should be a natural black, adjust contrast/brightness til it looks like real black, vis versa with white. notice in your pics that you can't see the sky in any of them = too high contrast.

You're better with editing than he is with the camera. My 6 year old 2mp canon powershot takes better pics than that and the camera body has a dent in it.

He said you're better with editing than your friend with a camera. Photos weren't shitty, just shitty quality. The editing isn't bad.

Edit: And yes, the quality of the unedited pic is pretty mediocre. You should tinker with the settings, I'm sure your moms camera can take better ones.

Why even post pre-production photos. Its like if I posted a raw photo from a dSLR. Just look at the finished product. This thread is about the Santorin A4 w/ RS4 wheels. The camera was set on Scene mode and pics came out just fine on the LCD after taking them.

They are Sebastians now... I wish I could keep em but I like my 996TT brakes better

Plus they are brand new wheels and brand new tires, less than 350 miles

The 3071, manifold, downpipe, oil and coolant lines, turbo inlet, 630cc injectors, ect are available now
