to joey mod their lights CF. I thought about this for a long time, and now I wish I had done it with mine... so much so that I might open them back up and give it a shot.

Should be fairly simple... that piece in the head lights is pretty much flat. Worse comes to worse you strip it off and paint it.

I'd do it but I'm not going through the 3 hour heat gun thing again

i am very tempted to do mine in black... i did it to my old truck... and the car looks much harder to do... but i think it would be well worth it... wat do you guys think? look at my truck... i just took em apart and painted the area black

BTW, I was taking a look at that vinyl stuff on ebay...it doesnt even look like a proper weave.....

As for Carbon fiber...even if it was cheap fabric, its a hella long process!

picks were the right tools i was referring to. having that to get under the back side of the clear part is KEY... it keeps you from having to pry it up with the screwdriver (which consequently leads to many small cuts and puncture wounds on your hands). and it saves time.

I too got halfway through and just said "fuck this" then hulked out (the first time). the second and third were much easier
