dealership sold me a car with no rear amp and wires cut

so i have a symphony system, without bose. and i am about to install a sub and a new amp but i take out my trunk lining and there is NO AMP and there are cut wires.

who ever owned the car before me cut the left and right speaker wires and attached extensions on to them that go nowhere

even if i get a replacement stock amp, there is only one blue clip to that is available is that normal?

how can i hook up my subs with this situation.

I dont know if it would help you, but my car as an amp bypass for the avic d3 to run my speakers. Since I dont plan on putting my stock head unit back in that thing (If I do I wont put the sub in there), so I might be able to sell you the harness that goes on the stock amp as well.

can you explain what this amp bypass does?

they basically cut the wires back there where they go in (from the head unit) and out (to the speakers) of the amp to bypass it. That way the d3 runs the rear speakers directly without the amp.

but i am trying to still use my stock deck, with the amp bypass will the stock deck be able to power the rear speakers. or would i need a new deck

If you want to use the stock deck you should replace your amp and wire it just like the stock amp does. The stock amp runs both the sub and the rear speakers in the factory configuration. If you just do an amp bypass with the stock speakers (no stock amp) your rear speakers wont sound right. Search on stereo threads to learn more...

Unless they told you about it, they should be replacing it and doing the wiring as well for free.

without bose no amp was included originally, only the BOSE option had an amp in the rear

Unless the dealer specified it in the what we owe section of the paperwork when the op got the car the dealer won't give him anything.
