On Vaca, No blinkers, No tools, Fuses OK. HELP

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I was driving the other day and suddenly my blinkers stopped working. When I arrived at my destination, I checked my fuses seemed all ok. When I lock the car using the key all lights flash which tells me that all the bulbs work. What should I check next? Im on vaca so I have none of my tools with me. Im thinking its the switch itself that might have gone bad. Now I will need to drive 140+ miles back with no blinkers so I would like to figure this out before I leave. Any input will be appreciated.

Could be the hazard light relay that is right in the dash. The switch and relay are the same device. Easy and cheap fix if you can find the part where you are.

Seen people drive further than that with nary a sign of a blinker, but Id be willing to bet theirs freakin worked.

Be careful changing lanes and passing the five oh, right?

The wipers do work so that helps me eliminate that. I will go check the hazard/swithc relay tomorrow and see what happens. Thanks for the help. Anyone else have suggestions?

I am having same issues. My hazard lights work, no turn signals. I have also lost use of my keyless entry. I am at a loss and ride with the windows down, arm out the window.... SUCKS!

So problem fixed. I did some more diagnosing before buying a new hazard switch. It turned out to be the hazard switch so I went right out to a dealership and bought the $36 switch. Quick and simple fix.
