    Re: Ipod Integration, best setup?

I use a "blitz safe" one and its great. Its pretty cheap ($100 or so, maybe less), sounds as good as you'll get out of you ipod, and recharges/keeps charges as it plays.

you cant control it though the radio, but I have never wanting to use the radio controls anyways...
I set mine in front of the ashtray which is in easy reach.

Here is a link to my thread. As I type this it's right below yours. I ran the cable up the air duct and out the center vent.

Also here is a link to where I bought my kit. I used the Dice cradle (acts like a docking station) and the proclip No. 852169

    Re: Ipod Integration, best setup?

Audio is perfect but must control songs from radio in 1-6 playlists. It does charge as well...but for $50 its a deal.

    Got it from here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...237082531&rd=1

    Re: Ipod Integration, best setup?

Haha i just use the old fashion cassette tape and plug it into my ipod. Works like charm and actually good quality if you have the ipod turned all the way up its comparable to cd. Does charge or anything though but for under $10 does a great job!

Icelink is the best by far. Easy install, cheap, control through ipod and radio controls. Nuff said.

    Re: Ipod Integration, best setup?

I've got the IceLink and love it. I've got it mounted in the cup holder under the armrest and you'd never know it was there unless I pointed it out or you saw it glowing. The only downside is the radio controls suck so I have to unplug the iPod, select the song/playlist that I want, hit play then plug it back in. Not that big of a deal, but it would be nice if they at least had a way to skip playlists from the head unit instead of just songs.

My Dice I just got gives me full control of the ipod. So far I haven't found anything I don't like about it.

    Mine...

cord routs behind the passenger knee bolster and has enough slack hidden away for even the rear passengers to control the ipod. I think I got it at best buy...

This is what I got. It was easy to install as well but doesn't include the dock:

    Re: Ipod Integration, best setup?

Using the ICELink as well. Works great - charges and able to control through the radio. I've got mine tucked in the glovebox. The only thing is that it has a cradle that only fits the older iPods. I bought an old Mini on eBay and it usually just sits in the cradle. I wish it had a normal adapter so I wouldn't have to use the cradle.
