Detailer's Domain: M3 and Swissvax Crystal Rock

This one was a treat the customer drove up from North Carolina! (of course he was heading back up to NJ to visit his family and store his M3 before he was deployed)
I was honored that he did pick me though. The car sat in NC near the beach so sand and ocean spray on top of hard water, so the expected swirls and water etching all over. The plan of attack was to wash/clay/SIP/ PO85rd. the last step was Swissvax Cleaner Fluid finishing it off with Swissvax Crystal Rock
As for the interior a vac /leather clean/conditioning and a wipe down.
Below are the tools and products used:

Which steps do you feel worked best on removing the hard water spots? Looks great.

Red really makes that M3 look the biz!

The SIP step would get rid of the water spots, but if not you may need compound if that doesn't work maybe an acid base product (dangerous) or wetsanding.

I love the old bodystyle M3s. The new ones just don't look right. Awesome job with that red, thing is sick!

That is an awesome color and a fantastic detail job. How long did it take the two of you from start to finish?

$1,100 is an awful lot for wax. $2,500 is just insane! I thought $50 for jetseal was expensive!

Speaking of which I just jetsealed my whole car the other day, Im excited to see how it holds up over the next few months. Absurdly easy to apply and remove, I hope the stuff works well...
