AWE Intercoolers Pics

Today was a nice little Sunday, i had the opportunity to tear down the car and spend some quality time putting in my AWE sidemount intercoolers. Things went pretty smooth leaving me with a little time to do the darintake mod.

I bought the intercoolers without shrouds, but just slightly modified the stock ones and they work perfectly fine.

The car feels stronger, and pulls harder, so alls good and no cel, so whoo hoo.

Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time.

Its funny that every time I take the car apart, less bolts go back into holding it together :)

jealous... how long did it take you to do the intercoolers?

i was up at 8.30 and finished by 1.00pm, I took my time, had my cheerios, used a dremel, 1.5inch metal cutting wheel to make my cuts. The biggest pain was maneuvering the inter coolers to fit the stock mountings.

FYI there's a set of AWE shrouds in the classifieds. I don't know the seller just letting you know. I have the same ones and like em so far.
