b5 s4 and b6 s4 wheel offset and hub spacing

I went from the stock s4 wheels on my b5 to b6 s4 wheels. I wanted to know what the hub spacing is on both or if they are the same. My eibach spacers do not have a lip for the wheel to sit on and am wondering if that is the reason for my vibration. If someone else knows throw in the offsets of the wheels as well. This way I can get the right hubcentric rings.

Re: b5 s4 and b6 s4 wheel offset and hub spacing

I am running the B6 S4 Avus wheels on my b5 without spacers. The B6 wheels are 18X8 ET45 so the offset is the same as the stock b5... stock avus is 7.5X17.
In the past when I have run wheels that aren't hubcentric i've been able to get rid of most of the vibration by being very particular when tightening them down in a star pattern 1/8 to 1/4 turn at a time.
Not sure if that helps at all?

Re: b5 s4 and b6 s4 wheel offset and hub spacing

well I know the offset is not the same on both wheels for sure. They are def different. The problem i think is that my gay eibach spacers do not have a hubcentric lip like other spacers do. So my wheel doesnt sit on the hub even though I believe both b6 s4 wheels and b5 s4 wheels are 57.1 hub spacing. I will try the torquing thing and see how that goes. So thanks for that. I barely clear my brakes now with a 8mm spacer (prob could get away with a 5mm) so your brakes must be very worn.

Does anyone know if there is a 57.1 to 57.1 hubcentric ring that just basically extends the hub? Let me know if anyone has run into this.
