    CEL Question

No, I don't have codes because it went away after I started the engine three times. Anyway yesterday I woke up from my 21st birthday, hungover as balls of course, got in my car and tried to go get some food. I was a little out of it and shifted terribly, really bogged the engine and I'm surprised I didn't kill it. After this terrible shift I notice I threw a CEL, does anyone have any insight to this? TIA, car is a 2.8l Quattro 5spd

    Re: CEL Question

That is not helpful at all, why do people on VW/Audi forums have to be so useless? Unless you mean to say that it will still throw a code if I scan it and I'm not throwing an angry helicopter. If that's the case, say that, and I'll go get the car scanned, if not then I would still like to know what's happening. It was a terrible shift, uphill, not enough gas, almost killed the engine, like I said morning after my 21st birthday (not one of my better mornings) I was thinking that car may think the fuel pump is fubared or something like that. I just want to know if its something I need to worry about.

    Re: CEL Question

Nebone is simply saying go get your car scanned, go to the link to see what the code is for, then post if you are unsure of what steps to take next. You can use the Autozone scanner for free.
