    05 Passenger Window problems

Im not with the car right now nor when it happened as my brother was driving it.

he said he had the window down and went to roll it up. It only went up a few inches and stopped. He then took his hand off the button and tried it again. It went up again a few inches, then stopped after going up about the same distance. During the process of getting it up he tried it from the passenger and driver side.

Bad motor? bad regulator? bad electrical?

    could it be this?

Next, test the window function.

Bad regulator. If your under warranty the stealership will fix it, but if not then it cost like $145.00 or so for the part. I already had the same problem.

Subscribing. I've got the identical problem with my passenger window, but haven't had a chance to bother with it. Also in one case, while going up, it stopped and went back down.
I'll try diagnosticator's fix above to see if it works/helps.

    Cheers,
    -Neil.

    Re: 05 Passenger Window problems

Mine is a very unique issue. My rear passenger window goes down and up if you use the rear passenger buttons. But, if I use the driver's buttons, than it will only go up if I have it on auto-up, I can't manually move the mirror up. It goes down fine tho.

I had a similar issue. I would put it up and it would go down about 3 inches. put it up, go down, put it up, go down. I turned the car off and turned it on again and it stopped. I does it about once every two months or so.
