I just bought an s4 and when driving @ 40mph or faster, if I hit bumps in the road the front end feels sloppy and loose. The wheel shakes too. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

Re: front end jiggles over bumps.

I don't know if this will help or is the cause, but on my old Audi, randomly and often my front end would shake a bit and the steering wheel would go crazy. Than the time came for me to rotate my tires and it turns out that the front ones were screwed on REALLY tight. Took a lot of man power to unscrew those little babies. Afterwards I screwed them back on and never had that problem again. Just throwing something out there. Hope it helps.

unfortunatley it's not random. I think it's the rack, contol arms or bushings.

my shit did that horribly too....an alignment didnt fix it too much but helped...the shop said all of my bushings looked fine...they were suprised that after driving it the problem didnt stick right out at first glance...anyways after i lowered the car its not as bad...however its still there...i just adjust to it...in the future imma change out all of the control arms and hopefully it will be solid again

im having the same issue, I know my control arm rubber boots are torn, so guessing the arms are bad...plus the shocks could be blown because I bought the car with lowered springs and stock shocks. Time for some suspension work
