Another one on the Duplicolor Bandwagon...

I picked up some B5 S4 wheels a while ago as an affordable upgrade from my stock 15's.... but the wheels were so thrashed they totally made my car look like a beater.... After seeing so many people on the zine with pristine wheels and feeling jealous of them, I decided to try and clean my wheels up a bit.... overall it's not a perfect job, but it beats having curb rash... here's a couple pics....

Hey thanks a lot... yeah it's my first time attempting any type of project like this so I just tried to take my time so I didn't mess anything up too bad.... most of my time was spent doing the prep work i.e. cleaning with a degreaser, then sanding, sanding, and more sanding.... to better answer your question though, it took about one day to prep and then the following morning to paint them.... and then I let them cure for 48hrs. before I put them back on the car....

Hey good luck, it really is not as hard as it looks, just take your time... I really concentrated on the prep work so that I didn't have to put as much paint on... I pretty much just did a TON of sanding and then 3 light coats with about 20 -30 minutes between them and then 2 heavier coats with about 35 minutes between them... and then about 48hrs. to cure before I put them back on the car....
