    I finally got my front bumper and the quality and fit is good. I have decided to have the vents filled in but wanted to put it to a pole to see what you guys think. It should be back on the road soon but it's just that much closer ......

    Let me know what you think.

    Ditto, always hated the side vents even on the real RS4 bumper, I say fill.

    If they're not functional, fill 'em.

    I had the Kerscher "RS4" kit on my '96 and I wasn't ever happy with it b/c the vents/gills weren't functional. Mine never got painted to match though. That added to my frustration.

    yeah the vents are unneccesary, just fill them in, will look soo much cleaner!

    I do like the filled and smooth look better especially since the rear does not have anything. I think it will be more balanced this way, with the side skirt vents being the only stand out part of the kit.

    Fill, use Fusor, or Fuzor made by 3M to bond the fill plates. It will never crack or come off. Its pretty pricey, but completely worth it.

    Fill. Vents are one notch under vinyl flames.

    His bumper is a fiberglass mix. Fuzor, duramix or any kind of plastic welding will not work.

    fill it with poop and let it harden. then sand, more poop...sand....and do a skim coating of loose poopie. then paint. poop never fails.

    I'm sure that with the right diet it could be done. The gloss/clear coat is what I'd be worried about.
