Porsche 997 Turbo /Lapis Blue Exterior Detailer's Domain
I love working on 911’s! This was the first dark colored car I would do with the new Swissvax Crystal Rock. The customer wanted a full exterior detail with paint correction.
The steps taken were a wash with Optimum Power Clean to strip off the wax/sealant anything on the car’s finish.
Next was a nice claying and for the paint correction I used Menzerna SIP with a green pad finishing out with Menzerna PO85RD with a white pad. Finally I finished by applying Swissvax cleaner fluid to make sure the finish was clean and ready for Swissvax Crystal Rock. The Crystal Rock was very easy to apply and spread /waited about 15 minutes to remove. Removal was just as easy. The look well you can be the judge of that.

Below are the tools and products used:

soooo sexy. Why did the tail need wet sanding? Was it that bad that polishing wouldn't have done enough?

the water etching was from pipes from the garage and was left there over time.
the wetsanding was need to remove the damage.
