ok i just got my a4 a few months ago and am trying to figure out what i want to do to it.. i know i want the hood out of this picture which is a boser hood i think... what what head lights are these? they are sweet... thanks!

i found that topic... i think they look really good on the red car... but i dont know if i would like then on silver cause that is what i have... i was looking threw that modification thread but there isnt different kinds of headlights for our cars? or are they just not listed?

The US headlights all pretty much look the same. The Euro version has round lights for the turn signal instead of the oval ones we get here and the amber is absent, they may also have a different beam pattern but I'm not completely sure.

Search "Joey Mod" and you will see how some guys blackout their housings.
S4 housing ( like mine) have the gray housings as opposed to the regular a4 housing which have the chrome look.

i have looked at the joey mod but taking apart my headlights kinda scares me if i put it back together and it leaks water in from breaking the seal or something like that... plus i am a horrible newb and dont even know how to take off my bumper and everything... are your s4 headlights a direct swap into the a4 then?

Yes they were. I think there was a small modification in the wiring iirc. It was like 3 years ago though, so I don't remember exactly what it was but it was pretty simple. Also, the Joey mod looks pretty straightforward. I don't think it would be that hard to do. If I had heard of it , I probably would have tried it.

i am totally down for a diy on this... i love the r8 headlights... i love driving the r8 but i think my a4 was a little cheaper... how hard is it to change the color of my headlights from the white to say blue? or the fog lights to solid yellow?

yes they do, but for that price they don't freakin even have Xenon projectors. God knows how suck the quality is, last time i checked FK's Angel Eyes leaked like crazy and had a horrible beam pattrern.
