HOLY SH*T!!!!!!!!!!!! bro u cant post that and not reveal what was required for the install. OEMpl.us sells the set for 600 saying "it includes all wiring and parts necessary for the retrofit".

how much would it set everyone back? as far as i know u guys are the first to put the new tails in. im waiting on more info as far as instal is concerned to pull the trigger on these.

oh and that rear looks a bit diffrent then my s-line rear..........hm possible s3 rear?

A few of us here at Penske worked closely with OEMpl.us to make this retrofit a reality...needless to say this weekend was a very hectic one!

Why isn't the third brake light working? Seems this isn't 100% sorted out yet.

chances are they are not 100% done the retrofit yet. They have to account for all the different combinations that the brake lights can be triggered.

I think the bottom part of the outer lamp is only a reflector, but I guess we'll see soon enough.

The brakes aren't applied in that shot.

Everything is working 100% at this time. The LEDs stay on while braking, the two inner bulbs just amplify when the brakes are applied.

Oh yea-- no VAG-Com required, no bulb out indicators on the dash.

So there is a special harness. My guess is that that even the facelifted cars require the harness. What is the part number?
