Need HELP! anyone recognize this part?

I've been told it was my trans output shaft seal. I got a seal from audi part # 857-525-275, but doesn't look like it's the correct seal. I believe the O-Ring is the problem. Please advise!

That is the center diff. cover that bolts on to the end of the tranny, along with the rear output flange. Either it was leaking between the cover and the tranny housing, or the rear output flange seal is leaking.

If it was leaking between the the cover and the tranny housing, what could be causing it? Also...do you have any idea the order those washers and spring go back on?

If anybody as a repair manual please help.

What is showing in the pictures? Is that not the rear output flange?

*EDIT* Ok found out everything. I think i'm in the clear...only thing I didn't do was tie up the driveshaft.
