Mappockets on rear of front seats

Anyone know how to remove the plastic covers on the back of the front seats?

They don't appear to be attached on the bottom, and I read somewhere that there are only two clips holding it, and it pulls straight down. I'm not sure I buy that, and don't want to break one.

    Thanks in advance.

there are two plastic clips that are glued on to the back piece, like 1/3 of the way from the bottom. You have to be really careful you might break the clips or the glue might come off.

But basically you have to lift up from the bottom and pull the bottom out. Once you have the bottomeout, then you can slide the rest of it down and out, as it just a snug fit, after the clips are out. I know there is pics on AW.... look for a DIY to replace the clips.. (sorry I can't help you with a link, I can't search for it right now). its got pictures for you so you'll get a better idea.

Found the writeup - apparently there are two clips that should be easy to pop using a long screwdriver....Not that easy.

Anyone have any tips? Can't seem to get a good angle on the clips while leaving the seats in the car.

That's exactly what I'm doing. Just was surprised that you clued into it immediately.

But yes. Should be all done by Tuesday.
