Hey guys dose anyone have the vag code to make your fog lights work without the headlights....

P/S I tried to use the fuse mod but the fuse keeps getting blown...

what amp is the fuse?? that could be your problem... they tend to overheat but if you use the 10 red fuses that should fix the problem of thme over heating

Yeah i use the red 10 amp after 5 min it blows.

A buddy of mine had this issue. Turned out the wire he used as a jumper was stripped inline somewhere and was making contact. I would double check the wire just to be sure. I don't think you can VAG the fogs though man. If you could, you would find the info on AW.

Nope no vag mod for fogs on C5

It's a fairly simple rewiring job to tie in with parking lights (on when parking lights are on, which are also on with headlights), though not so simple I know what to do.

paul go buy two more fusetaps... same things happened to me at first.... the two first ones were bad and didnt work out... get two more tap them together like so described in audidiy

Get a VAG-COM cable from ebay $20 shipped and do it yourself.

P/S The dealer will not do this for you...

I've been searching here and AW for the seatbelt chime code, but haven't found them for C5/A6 specific purposes.

There are 3 other threads here on AZ w/ people asking about windows and seat belt chime, but I have yet to see the A6 chime code revealed
