JHM future product for B7 A4s (linkage upgrade) NEED YOUR HELP

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Hey guys as you may know I already make a shifter for the B7 A4 as long as all the other A4s and S4s. I want to compliment the shifter and shifter stabilizer bushing I currently offer for your cars with a linkage upgrade like the one I build for the B5 S4. So I need your help.

WHAT I NEED -6-speed linkage rods(2 large and one small cross rod) from a 06 and up B7 A4 with a 6 speed manual trans. NOTE: The 04-05 B6 A5 shares the same linkage as well, so if you know a 6-speed B6 A4 owner let them know about this.

I am not having any luck calling all the popular Audi junkyards like Shokan or 4usedaudiparts.com so I am asking you guys to help me locate these linkage rods so I can build you guys a linkage upgrade like the one pictured below that I make for the B5 S4.

So if you are working on a build and can send me yours for 2 to 4 weeks or if you come accross them please email me at [email protected]

B5 S4 linkage, the B7 A4 one will look similar

Thanks in advance for your help.

BTW. I got a B6 - B7 S4 owner to step up already and have that already covered.

Re: JHM future product for B7 A4s (linkage upgrade) NEED YOUR HELP

I got a B7 A4 owner to step up and get me the stock rod so I could build the linkage for the B6(04 and up) and B7 A4 6-speed linkage upgrade.

    NOW COMING SOON!

Here are some pics of how the linkage upgrade looks.

We will be hopefully going into production soon and selling them in the coming months.

    Thanks again

Luckily the tester I got to try it out confirmed yesterday that it works great.

This linkage, especially with my shifter will make it feel very mechanical and crisp. I have it on my daily driver. Many B5 S4 owners have it and love it. This is one of those items that are a owner preference thing, not for eveyone.

When you have my shifter, this linkage and our shifter stabilizer bushing the shifting is like a race car when it comes to feel and feedback. It feels incredible.

Here is a video comparison of the linkage on a B5 S4 - same basic concept. http://audishifter.com/videos/JHM_B5...parisonWeb.wmv

Like I said it is not for everyone, but is for those who want the ultimate shifting experience. The added benefit of more feedback and feel is that you KNOW when you are in gear and tend to have less miss shifts.
