want to lower my ride but cant decide what to do. i was thinking about going with just H&R sport springs but the more i read and talk to ppl the more i think i should go with sport springs and shocks (probably bilstein).

is anyone running on aftermarket springs with stock shocks. how do you like the ride? how do the stock shocks hold up?

what do you think i should do?

Initially the ride may be acceptable but the mismatch between the shocks and springs will quickly become evident. The stiffer springs will overwhelm the stock shocks and get very bouncy. You might get 10 or 15K miles out of them before they become unbearable. It's much cheaper in the long run to match the shocks with the springs and be done with it.

    Cheers!
