So in terms of the SD cards, I have 2 questions. First is, is it true the system does not work with cards larger than 2 GB? cause I have a pair of 4 gig cards coming in the mail that I don't want to have wasted, and I have almost 70 gigs of music so frankly 4 gigs in my car just wont cut it.
Also, and perhaps more importantly, is a question pertaining to the formatting of the MP3's on said SD cards. I'll do my best to explain the issue, but it is kinda hard:
On my computer I load music up on the SD card by created an artist folder, then creating album folders within the artist, and then dumping the tracks from my iTunes into their corresponding album folders in MP3 format. When I put the SD cards in the RNS-E, however, within the album folder appears two copies of the track list from the album. The first set I believe is labeled with a hyphen, and then after the first hyphen copy is another copy thats labeled more traditionally with the 01 (Song name), 02 (Song name), etc. When I open a folder in the RNS-E and if i select the first of the hypenated songs to play, which are the ones at the top of the list, the stereo starts skipping tracks as if it were playing an albums worth of 0 second tracks, and then only starts playing when it actually reaches the start of the songs labeled traditionally.
I hope that explains what I'm talking about. With that being said, my question is what am I doing wrong that causes those "hollow" tracks to be at the top of the list?
Sorry if I wasn't that clear.
