The 19" wheels weigh 27.5lbs They look a lot better in person.

Come on? $509 for a cast wheel? That can't be right. I can buy a forged wheel for that price (not all forged wheels, but some). At any rate, that is way $$$ for a cast wheel. I assume that price is not correct.

There is nothing wrong with cast wheels, if it is cast properly. Forged wheels can be made lighter. Oettinger uses the highest quality casting processes.

The face on the wheels in the picture have been painted. But the diamond cut face with the black center looks really well too.

There is nothing wrong with cast wheels. Yes, our stock wheels are cast. There are methods to make cast wheels very strong like adding pressure (as opposed to gravity). Enkei has a tech section talking about methods they use to make their cast wheels strong.

My point was not that cast wheels are bad - just that cast wheels are cheaper to make so I thought the price was wrong as some forged wheels cost that much and cost much more to make then a cast wheel.
