I live in Phoenix, AZ and yesterday it was well over 100 degrees, and the car was hot from a highway drive. Then a very heavy rainstorm quickly came in, dropping the temperature to 73 deg. F and flooding the streets. I was still driving at the time.
Once things let up, there was a significant vibration from more than one tire/wheel at any speed, but obviously more vibration at higher speed., even in the steering wheel.
I haven't gotten to check it out yet, but there are obviously 3 possibilities:
Tires out of balance
Wheels warped
Rotors warped
What the most likely due to a temp change like that - very hot wheels, tires and brakes suddenly going through cold water, and driving through flooded streets for an excess of 20minutes?
Thanks!
