02 B6 Sport rubbing

Is anyone with a 2002 B6 sport package running 17 x 8 with 245/45-17. Im looking at some oz 17 x 8 and they already have the 245/40's on them.

Only size we can guarantee to fit is stock 235/45-17

I would recommend the same as Doc. The lower side wall will definitely throw off speedo, odometer, abs sensors.

These are going to be my autoX setup so I dont care about the spedo or even slight change in the drive ratio. Just want to take advantage of r compound tires and found a set for sale. If anybody is running or has seen 17 x 8 wheels on a 2002 (the lowest year) b6 Sport. Please let me know. I just want to know if they are going to rub.

Then i don't think this thread would be need then right? People run many different sizes for track and autox setups.

I am aware of the ability to run non stock sizes depending on if you are willing to change classes or not. Thats not what I was asking. I just wanted to know if anybody with an 02 sport setup has run this wheel and tire size and if they have experienced any rub.
