I gotta disagree. Its basically the new trademark of the S4. Understated car with the matte chrome mirror. I like it.

Get an extractor, I believe craftsman makes a good one, or try to spray it with some PB Blaster and let it sit for a little bit.

Gotta disagree, when accessorized correctly, it looks pretty good.

Though S4 owners like it a lot more than A4 owners

You don't need to remove the bottom, it makes it a lot easier, but is not necessary. Just release all the clips and they should just pull right off.

    Re: chrome mirror covers

I got the ebay chrome mirror covers and I like em...so do other people who have seen it. I would like the brushed ones but I dont want to spend money on that, for a very little difference in appearance...

Once accessorized nicely , it does the job!

    Re: chrome mirror covers

ok so i installed the mirrors, but the problem is that the new covers are a little different than the stock ones because i cant put the 2 bottom screws on, because it doesnt line up with the inside holes, i did manage to clip in the bottom though?
should i just leave it, it seems pretty stable
