    Brake upgrades

A couple of quick questions, as I'm trying to firm up my options for a brake upgrade...

I'm leaning towards a B7 A4 front conversion, and keeping the rears stock on my B6, so if there's anyone in the GTA with a B7 who's got parts left over from a BBK install, please let me know

Or alternately, a reasonably priced (preferably Canadian) online source?

I'm thinking about getting my rotors from the group buy (can someone confirm the B7 A4 fronts are the same size as the B5 S4 fronts?), and have decided on Hawk HPS pads - is there a seller in the GTA, or do I need to order them from the US (tirerack etc)?

    Thanks in advance...

    Nick

I know Eurotech can get you Hawk HPS, although it may take them a couple weeks. I got my rears there, but when I did my fronts I just used Tirerack. Price was about the same even with shipping. So go Tirerack is my advice.

yes it was, they had problems getting them from their supplier. my guess is the supplier screwed up somewhere. that's why i ordered from tirerack the second time.

While I'd like to go BBK, I don't have the $$$, especially with one month old twins

I'm trying to do everything for under what I was quoted at the dealership for just pads and rotors...

    Re: Brake upgrades

Silly question time - can you get HPS pads with sensors? (specifically for a B6/B7 S4 caliper) Based on the info on tirerack it doesn't look like it, and I couldn't tell from the Hawk site..

Wondering as the warning light's getting annoying - time for new brakes

yes for the A4, don't know about the S4. i know these ones have sensors: HB354F.756A

from what i recall if there is an A at the end of the part number it has a sensor.
