I have a question, this may seem stupid, but isnt a black intercooler an extremely bad idea? Making it black will only increase heatsoak since anything that is black absorbs heat instead of reflecting it? I mean it looks good, and this isnt the first time i've seen someone do a black intercooler, but the laws of physics say, you are making your intercooler a lot more prone to heatsoak by painting/anodizing it a dark color?
