Anyone got wheels for sale locally?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So I destroyed two of my LM reps in an accident two weeks ago. I need to find some new wheels now. (the reps are discontinued). I saw the wheeldudes.com thread, but those wont be available for two months plus their offset is different than my exclusive alloy LM reps. What should I do guys?? Should I:

a.) run my stock 17s and wait for wheeldudes.com?
b.) buy new set of 19s?
c.) just run my stock 17s and save the dough...

I really dont know what to do. I want new wheels, but the ones I want are just out of my price range. I am trying to spend under $1500 for wheels. What do you guys think?

Sorry to hear about your destroyed LM's... I must say LM's and CH's are my favorite wheels for just about every Audi model.... Given your options, even though its boring, I'd just throw the stock 17" wheels back on and either wait for those other LM reps to be available or shop around for a deal on something else... don't just rush out and buy a new set of wheels just to have 19's.. lol... On the plus side even though 17's aren't as cool, they are far more comfortable for daily driving than 19's....

Re: Anyone got wheels for sale locally?

Nelson, to be honest with ya, your brake setup would have just been too much $ for me. I would have to buy new pads, possibly even new rotors for them. Also, with the LM reps I had, I would need some spacers to clear those brakes!!! Financially, it was not a good option for me since I needed to do a timing belt change, and I was looking into a FMIC since my car was heat soaking all the time. I apologize, and I still really want your brakes, but I am not going to say I want them until I got the dough. You know what i mean??

But I thought you sold your LM reps? If you still have yours available, let me know, I actually only need two, but I can use the other two as spares I guess. Please PM me your price. I can pick them up this weekend. Maybe you can throw in the brakes for a lil less too?? Also man, Ive been working a completely different schedule since the last time I talked to ya. I work either from 7am to 7pm or 12pm to 12AM. Now this schedule includes weekends and its always changing so its been pretty hectic for me. I will be back to my regular mon-fri schedule starting sept so I am pretty damn excited about that one....but nelson please PM me

No worries. And BTW - they will clear without spacers and my rotors are in good condition, never tracked on them or abused. Here's an old pic that I got with the reps + my old brakes
