V6 3.0 - Air Intake System

Hey guys,

I have a 2004 Audi A4 Quattro 3.0 Liter, V6 Ultrasport and I've been searching for a cold air intake system, but can't seem to find any - I can only find for the 1.8T for a 2004 A4....anyone know of any?

I came across this product at http://www.electricsupercharger.com/...t-selector.cgi. It's called the Super E-Ram...it claims to increase about 18hp....has anyone heard of it or have one? Not sure if it's worth getting....

Thanks for the info! I actually found another one last night, that a friend of mine suggested by Evolution Motors - here's the link....I bought it and should get it in about a week...I'll let you know how it is...thanks again!

I installed the VFlow Intake System from Evolution Motorsports into my 04 A4 3.0L and it sounds great and it definitely increased my power!! Good buy!!

Sorry for the late reply Charles. Installation was pretty rough the 1st go around, since I had printed out the wrong instructions! Once I had the correct instructions, it took me about 2 hours...wasn't too bad. I took my time to make sure I installed correctly...happy I did it! Has given my car a more throatier, deeper growl and has made my car a bit quicker. The V-Flow claims between 10-15hsp increase, which seems accurate.

hmm, i thought the stock intake system was pretty good as it is. it actually is a CAI of sorts.

Didn't say an expert, but I know a hell of a lot more about intakes for our cars than I did back then.

you feel you gained power because the car sounds better.

I have no comments on if they make any difference in power or not but I would prob just get the Evoms if I went with one.

So you searched far and long, you already know about the Zingo mod and JHM. Since you haven't done a search on here and necro'd a thread from 2009 - search those for a start. They should get you started.

Sounds like you've found the answer. The only real worthwhile 'bolt on' increase in power for the 3.0 is a 2.7T swap.
