So my a/c has been acting funny by only getting cold while I'm moving. I'm about to re-charge it but I dont want to mess anything up. Especially since the instruction say do not mess with the high side valve or severe injury may occur! lol any suggestions?

    -There's no codes
-No leaks (wil test when doing my recharge)
-I did get bumped but not hard in the front just a really minor smudge (hit and run)

sounds like a recharge may do you some good... just get the kits where you can check it out. there is only one place where the fitting is going to "fit" and its the low side.... if youre looking at it from the left fender leaning over its the right cap, unscrew it and thats the low pressure side.

    Re: a/c help

If it gets cold when you are moving but not when its sitting could be because the fan isnt kicking in when the ac compressor is on.

I think its a fuse that is supposed to kick it on. Its good to get that fixed because it is hard on your a/c system if its not cooled correctly. the a/c pump will actually shut off if the high pressure is too high.

It could be low on freon like the previous guy said. I charged one of my other cars with those bottles you can buy from a parts store. I got one with a gauge telling you if its low or not, also showing when its full, and has the lubricant already included in the R134 A

    Re: a/c help

The light bump could have cracked the AC condenser or the little arm coming off of it for the pressure sensor. VERY slow leak, almost undetectable unless you have leak detector fluid. It's happened to me before, check it out.
