A4 Sedan 05 OEM sport suspension on A4 Avant 02 ?

Hey Guys,

Looking to swap current suspension on my A4 Avant 02 to OEM sport suspension off an A4 Sedan 05.

Would this be a straight up swap ? Was told the back springs may be to low for my Avant?

Apparently Avants are heavier in the back therfore springs will be too low..

Any help would be much appreciated.

Though I don't know the exact spring rates it is my understanding that the factory avant suspension is a stiffer setup in the rear to account for the extra 100+ pounds of avant sexyness.

They should fit, the rear just may be low. Kind of link installing S4 suspension on a 1.8t, the front will be high. Try it out and post some pics! or just wait and maybe someone can chime in thats tried it before.

the rear should be higher on the sedan than it would be on the avant, because the springs would have less weight to support.

Im not sure if spending the time and money for the install is worth the gamble only to discover that it's too low... May just end up waiting for someone to post avant sport suspension at a reasonable price.

If i do decide to install, ill post some pics of the end result.
