Cars not working right weird idle

My car just when in the shop for a new steering rack and tierods etc. and when it came out yesterday it had a hard time starting unless i gave it gas. and now everytime im at a red light the needle goes from 1000 rpms down to like 500.. just wanted to see if any of you guys can help Thanks

ask the shop what they did - then tell them to fix it

They probably disconnected a sensor to get the rack in/out and forgot to hook it back up. Go back and let them know.
