I get to Drive B8 A4 tomorrow!!

We are getting 4 Euro Spec A4 3.2 Quattro's in tomorrow, We get to have these demos until the 13th!! We have to pick them up at our sister store on the other side of the cities tomorrow and I get to be one of the drivers to drive them across town. So if you live in the Mpls/St Paul area keep an eye out on the comute home. I will post pics tomorrow!!!

I'm going to be driving the B8 A4 on a track on the 19th. The Audi Enthusiast Driving Experience is going to be near my house for a few days.

We're supposed to get to drive the B8 A4, Q7 and TT. There also might be a few other A-line cars to try. The most improved person of the group gets a hell ride in the R8 out on the track with a professional driver.

this car is a total head turner!! The adaptive cruise control is amazing, it litterally slams on the breaks if it has too. I currently have a B7 A4 and it is impossible to belive this is an A4! The Audi Drive Select dramatically changes the feel of the car in seconds, there is very little body.

i will write more when I have time this weekend we have the cars until Wed night.

Honestly after driving one this past weekend, I must say the car handles well and feels connected to road and has decent power for a stock A4.

The bottom line is $40K out the door for a 3.2 09 A4 is something I would never consider, since I could pick up a used 996 TT for $50K, which would blow this A4 out of the water. $.02

I totally agree.
I think the 2.0 turbo stock will be enough power for some...and I am in that group.
We will see though, with all the options added up, this car gets quite pricey.

I agree, I am not the biggest fan of the wood, I prefer the aluminum trim. but hey what ever my client wants I will sell them.. :)

In all honesty the it was cool to see the crowds form around this car today, the looks on the faces of the people on the street and in other cars really tells it all. Just to mind you though, you don't get the LED's unless you get at least the premium plus package, they do not come on Halogen models. ( I think the LED's is what really catches your attention first.

Considering there is about a $4K Difference between the Premium and Premium Plus packages on the B8 I am sure you can expect to see quite a few halogens on the road. Because the Premium Plus car with Metallic Paint and Destination Fee is $38K.

Pricing is out of control for this car. This new Buick, er, I mean Audi is getting quite big. The 135i is looking like a viable option for me - with a stick!

If you compare option for option the new a4 is actually $400 Cheaper than '08.

I can post more tomorrow, is there something you would like to see in particular, we have 4 3.2 Prestige with Nav and 1 Has adaptive Cruise. 1 White 2 red 1 blue. Let me know if there are specific item you want me to take pics of. Secondly, We will be Getting 4 More mon or tues, 2 Premium and 2 Premium Plus 2.0T US Spec. I will post pics when they come in.

I agree, it looks so much like the A5 & S5 we have on the lot, the number on comment I heard from people this weekend is that the back looks very much like a 3 Series....

However we have a featured spot on our lot that is elevated and facing the highway, so we put one there with the DRL's on and people were coming into the dealrship who had never even looked at an Audi. "They were like what is that car over there!!" All I can say WOW to the attraction this car has.

I can't Wait 9-19-09 Official Launch Day, then we can deliver them to customers!!!!

Haha...Overall, B8 A4 is an attractive car. And I'm not surprised by the response because I saw one over here in Dubai with my friend(He's a noob in cars, doesnt know what is what) and he too asked which car is that.

Another thing , you said the launch day is on 9-19-09....thats next year...did you make an error on the date or is it for real?. I'm sure about its launch being this year.:D
