Even on the stock K03, REVO stage 2 (injector file), it is susposed to be detuned (lower boost/timing settings) if you don't have a test-pipe and Full exhaust. My local dealer said that its to prevent premature turbo failure due to too much back pressure.
That's on a K03...I def wouldn't suggest it on a GTRS.
I have the REVO BI file and an ER TP (AWE exhaust in shipping now
). Before the TP I could heat the stock cat up pretty good (I don't have logs), but the stock cat/turbo would visably be starting to glow red after a hard run. Now the turbo may show a little...but no where near as bad as before the Test pipe.
