    An odd problem

I have got an odd problem that I only noticed today. I dont even know how to approach fixing it because its so random, so this was the place i thought i'd start. And i'm sure its a very easy fix. But tonight, while my buddy was smoking a cigarette, we were hanging out outside on the roof of the arclight parking structure listening to music from my car, and i noticed something that i dont notice when i'm inside the car. The music, when loud enough, was causing a rattling on the drivers side door. After a bit of searching i realized that its the cover on the drivers door doorhandle. its lose enough to rattle a bit when the music is loud. So uh... what do you guys think is the best way to approach getting rid of that annoying-but-not-life-threatening rattling sound?

If the car still has warranty, I'd tell you to have them check it out rather than fix this yourself. If not, you'd probably have to disassemble the handle and see if there's adjustment.

    Re: An odd problem

I would attack it myself if it is really bothersome. I wouldn't let some cheeseball mechanic touch my car. They end up fixing one thing and breaking another, or scratching something.

I would assume that it's the rod inside the door that is making that sound. You can probably take off the panel and spray the where the rod connects to the handle with some plasticoat.
