Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Just got my front mount installed and the front lower valance bulges down a little bit.

Other than drilling holes has anyone else done something different to remedy this?

    Thanks in advance guys!

you just have to deal with it unless you move the piping OVER the AC hoses.

If there are mounting nuts on the bottom of the fmic have them removed. You can also drill small holes in the bumper to wire tie it up to the stock cross pipe like zrowcool suggested or buy a larger bumper like the S4.

    Re: FMIC Lower Valence Bulge

hahahah Thats funny same thing happened to me when I did my FMIC, but yeah just use zip ties they work fine and produce two small bulges on the sides but what ever.
I had to get a new bumper cuz mine got sort of road rashed so i went with an RS4 bumper
still need to put it on but my car started over heating and now I have blown head gasket so yeah...
