audi a4 1.8tq. Car had been sitting for about two months or so and decided to drive it again. Started fine and drove fine for about an hour or so. Then all of a sudden as i taking the exit off the highway it started loosing power and the cel started flickering on and off. Car would loose all power while still rolling and then when i gave it gas the power would come all of sudden for a second or so and go out again and kept doing that all the way home. parked it for about an hour and then drove and it drove completely fine and boosted good and pulled hard on the highway and everything when i drove about 20 km and the same problem started happening again. CEL flickering and now is on and power would come on all the way when i give it gas and would cut out in a second. I scanned it and got these codes.

Also alternator and battery were replaced right before it was parked and so was the central locking pump.

This website is almost useless. People only reply to problems that are common and for which an answer has been posted a million times already. No one really knows what they are talking about as i never get any replies whenever i post something on here.

Re: Need help, car isn't working right.

Did a search of your posts Suju, and I see many replies to questions put up. you don't want loads of bogus advice from post-happy n00bs, right? There are other VAG websites that can fulfill that nightmare out there.

All I can suggest is you have a shop check your battery connections & battery again, reset all of those codes and then see what happens.

chill for like a minute and maybe someone will be along to assist. I mean I know its frustrating when your ride isnt right. Search function at the top of each forum page is serviceable if you have the time.
