Battery unplugged now key remote won't work.

I was working on my car and had the battery disconnected for like a week.

How do I get the key fob to work with my car again?

Stick it in

...the ignition, turn it to "on" but don't start the engine, wait a few seconds, press lock on the keyfob.

There is another way, it's in the manual.

It will work again just use the key in the door a few more times. Happens to me all the time. Ive never had to program it per say.
