Hi guys, I've been looking at the forums for a little while and finally decided they are worth joining.

I have a 2000 Audi S4 Tiptronic that I found while looking for a E46 BMW 323i; I figured Audi's answer to the E36 M3 would be better than a entry level BMW, ergonomics aside (I'm 6'2") I'd say it was a good choice.

Its given me a fair amount of grief in the first 3 months of ownership including all my coolant leaking out of the hose going from the aux water pump to the driver side turbo and forcing me to call in "sick" to work so i could fix it as well as having to replace a bunch of coolant hoses during the timing belt job.
Regarless, I'm still spending less on this car than i ever did with my previous cars (Japaneses piss boxes) because I'm actually happy with it the way it is and i don't feel the need to modify it into a better car.

Sucks about your servicing woes, but congrats!

Looks like your starting off with a great love/hate relationship with your car as many of us do. ;P

Cool man... Welcome aboard this crazy, twisted love ship of monetary dispair. You will find that despite all the issues these cars have, you will eventually form a healthy (love-hate) relationship for many years to come! Or paychecks, whichever comes first
