$50/3 pulls and youll recieve a full print out of your stats(great deal). I went out and bought a camcorder so i'll bring mine to.

i will be doing my R32 to break up the monotony of the Audi's :). plus the R32 in their blog is my buddy John, and another friend with a supercharged R is dyno'ing there on thursday. So it will be a good comparison between his and my car which are pretty much modded the same.

Sorry about that. There is one at Loves' gas station off I-10 and wild horse pass. That is 101 octane. Then the Valeros as mentioned above sells 101 octane. And then, although now that I think about it I'm probably mistaken but I thought Vivid sold race gas at alma school and elliot.

this is how true this dyno is.

my buddy chad with bascially the identical R32 to mine, did 251whp on the Good Speed Dyno. I did 314whp on the dyno at EVOMS in November. so i will probably end up around the 250 mark on Saturday night as well.

Couldnt get any results for my car, dyno couldnt read it properly. They did invite me to come back free of charge to figure out why. The guys were good people though, i have no complaints about the people, the dyno wasnt working with my car so thats the end of that. 340whp is the unofficial result of the 1st (out of 8-10 runs) run that he caught by eye but the dyno didnt save it because my car was "violent".

The drive back was really fun tho with the race gas mix, saw a yellow evo but they didnt want to play =(

8-10 runs holy shit what happened? "violent" what?

every time the car de accelerated it would jump around, and the dyno WSS (wheel speed sensors) would freak out. Ill have to call stasis and see if the 4:1 diff would affect this, cars suspension is solid and every thing that can be replaced has been upgraded so I have no idea really. the cars tended to "float" around on the dyno alot not just mine which was kinda scary since they just used the tow hooks. The car ran like a champ every run, the dyno just wouldn't work on the decel part so I never got a sheet with my trq and crank hp. I would have been happy with just WHP and WTRQ.

they tried I think 5 times the first time, it heat soaked they pulled it off and let 2-3 cars run then brought mine back on for 3 more, the last run almost worked then it got screwy around 80 mph decel, thats when they told me to bring it back later after they talk to the Maha Engineer.

I have the stasis 4:1 Torsen upgrade, dunno if that was screwin with there dyno or not.

kinda weird though because i was hitting full boost to like 22psi and dropping to 19psi( no mbc connected) but my numbers were really terrible. timing must have been getting pulled like crazy to kill the numbers that bad. Sounded awesome on the dyno though. SoEvol said i could log my car on the drive to payson to see if i can figure something out. I'm going to do another pressure test to it to make sure something isn't leaking.

and as to the comment about getting the money back. I kinda agree, i mean it was 101 degrees in the shop while dynoing. i have it on my dyno sheet. i was not expecting it to be that hot for a dyno day.

Yes it was hot, unfortunately there's not a lot we could do about that, after all, in is August in Phoenix. Let's plan another dyno day in October or November so we can see the difference temperature makes on these cars.

Jimmy, we did have an issue with your car. It appears to be due to your center differential. We are Stassis dealers and will give them a call on Monday to get their input. We actually didn't realize you were running the torsen diff until the last run. We will get it figured out.

I had a good time, got some cool videos. I dont think the numbers were that bad, other than the other b5 that was there was very very low. Hopefully we can get it figured out next time because on the drive back home on race gas, she was puttin the power down. As my roommate said on take off "holy shit you lifted me off the seat!" =)
