Scored a great deal on these used H&R sport springs.

Just want to make sure that they are for the B6 1.8 AWD. The part numbers read # 29368HA & 29368-1VA

Oh yea, my currents springs will be forsale....Eibach...they sit like 02 sport suspension, just a tad bit lower, search for one of my pic threads

Mine read the same thing, and I have a 3.0 Q. They're on HR's site with that number, so I would imagine the 1.8 and 3.0 run the same.. so long as they're both quattro.. anyone?

From what I understand the rear springs on both engines are the same (I wouldnt see why not), but the front should be different. The 3.0 is heavier than the 1.8

The pic above is of the rear springs (I think) and the fronts have the #29368HA.

    Fronts: # 29368HA
    Rear: # 29368-1VA

I think that is how the numbers should correspond.

Anybody can verify this? Do I have the right springs?

Guess I had better check my fronts then!

What would a part number 29368-1VA (F) indicate?

It would make sense that F stands for fronts....I was just assuming, that #29368-1VA was for the rears, just buy there size. I dont know, lol.

I do know for a fact that quattro and FWD have two differents springs, and that the 1.8 and 3.0 have two different springs. (Technically one can run 3.0 springs on a 1.8 but the front will sit higher)

Thsi is the site that i am trying to refer back to, but there is more choice than one (2nd page near the bottom)

    Thanks man for your help.

I just checked ebay as well.

The part number for AWD 1.8/2.0 engine is 29368-1
The part number for AWD 3.0/3.2 engine is 29368-2

Do you have any pics of your car? If, you do have the 1.8 designated spring installed on the front, than you are probably lower than you should be. That isnt necessarily a bad thing, probably a good thing, lol...but you ride might be bouncy than it should be......either that, or I have a set of 3.0 springs!

Furthermore, the seller I bought them from had them on his 1.8 quattro, I just wanted to make sure he wasnt telling me what I wanted to hear....

I haven't installed mine yet. I just picked them up from AWE last week and they're still in my trunk. I even noticed on my invoice it didn't have a "-2" for the springs, and called AWE on it. They CLAIMED they took care of this, and now I'm a little annoyed I still have the 1.8T springs.....

Sorry, for getting you mixed up in this....but atleast you caught it before they were installed...

As of right now, I guess these are leading to 1.8 quattro springs.....

No dude, I'm glad I helped cuz it allowed me to cover my ass. I was just under the impression that AWE fixed the problem. So really it's just a mixup on their end w/ H&R.

Sounds like you got the right set for you car though. Getting them installed soon? I was hoping to have mine on by the end of the month, just waiting on wheels/tires from VMR.

Saturday? sweet.. What shocks are you riding on? No doubt it'll lower it a little bit more. I would think roughly 1/2 - 3/4 inches..

When I bought the car, i always though i was 02 sport suspension, because i had black springs. But then i cleaned off the springs and saw that they were eibach, and then looked at the shocks and saw they were bilstein sports! So that is the MAIn reason why I decided to go with lower springs, because the previous owner already had the bilsteins on the car.

Yeah bud, I would imagine you're good. Mine are red, also.. what are the odds that you bought race and AWE screwed up the model number and type of springs on my end? lol!

EDIT: I just got off the phone with H&R support. They don't go by the color, only the part number. She said the sport springs could be any color, really.. so both of us are solid!
