Help- need ''route from Rosebowl to AngelesCrest

A couple of buddies of mine decided to meet up at the Rosebowl then head up to AngelesCrest hiway - although i was asked to lead- I need someone's help (perhaps those that joined the march AngelesCrest) which streets/route to take from the Rosebowl to 2-AngelesCrest (it was through the residential area with lots of curves and twists- and we came out on FoothillBlvd then to the 2/AngelesCrest hiway.

Take the 210 to La Canada Flintridge - I think there's actually an exit for the Angeles Crest Highway / Route 2. Head north and enjoy!

Out of the bowl get on N. Arroyo and go north, you'll get to the 210 which you then want take north/west and exit hwy 2/Angeles Crest Hwy turn right and go up the hill.

Don't forget to mention that the gas stations (if you need gas) are to the left after exiting the freeway - otherwise you're screwed if you need gas!

Hey -thanks- but i know how to get to the 2-Angeles crest Hiway (i go there many many times) I am trying to figure out the residential area that we drove through from the RoseBowl parking lot (K?) to AngelesCrest hiwayw/out taking the freeway...

I think i figured it out- Rosebowl--> Linda vista ave, to linda vista rd--> chevychase to foothill, shell station then Angeles crest...
