I've had this setup for a few weeks now. I also had a similar setup on my old 94 Jetta autocross car with Bilstein HD and Neuspeed SofSport springs.
The Sport is a lowered version of the HD. The HD is an extended version of the Sport.
The A4 Avant currently has the Shine 400lb springs and I've got another set of their 500lb springs for the S4. The front bar is off and the rear H-Sport bar is on stiff. Shine recommends either the H-Sport or Neuspeed bar in the rear and the stock bar up front.
Compared to stock sport with H-Sport bars front and rear: Bumps are a little more compliant. Everything can be felt but is muted. Raised manhole covers don't upset the car as much and potholes seem to have much softer edges. Smooth roads are incredible since the brake dive is greatly reduced along with all traces of body roll.
Compared to balanced KW V1 coilovers with H-Sport bars front and rear: The car has a muuuuuch better ride. The coilovers felt nice and tight initially but after a week or two the car was creaking and rattling over bumps. It doesn't do that now. When going over bad stretches of road the contents of the glovebox could be heard jumping around, that doesn't happen now. The best part of the coilovers was preserved which is the tight responsive feeling but all the negatives are gone like the harshness and overly stiff ride.
The springs put the car right at stock sport ride height. At the local get together Sunday we compared it to a few cars by pushing on the fender. They all looked the same but would move differently, sometimes in an exaggerated manner. Mine didn't move at all.
