    Custom Battery Tray

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
About a year ago I made a custom battery tray to be used with light weight batteries in our stock location. It turned out very well, but I am selling my car and don't need it anymore. Would anyone out there be interested in using this as a template to start making a battery tray for B6's? (c'mon Winston!)
I'm sure someone could make a tweak or two to it and make one hell of a product.
If anyone is possibly interested in doing this let me know via PM.
I'd like to get maybe $75 shipped, and as you can see its actually two pieces...my custom piece and a Odyssey hold down I bought separately.

The tray is powder coated black. The back slides over the stubs on the rear firewall and the front is curved to hug the front firewall. It is held down in the front with the stock bolt.

Wow, the pictures make it look horrible! It doesn't look like that at all actually. There is about a 1/2" of thread on the rods so it is not necessary at all to smash the battery, I think the way the pictures were sized for this thread make it look awful.
