    Will Modding Void my Warranty?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I'm new to Audi it's my first one A6 3.2Q sport package 18" wheels, navigation, blue-tooth ecs.

I just bought 19" Axis Penta's Staggered and H&R springs.
Will adding these void the manufacturers warranty?
I go to Beiner Audi in Great Neck.

    Thanks guys,
    Tom

You should talk with someone at the dealership to see if they are mod-friendly or not. Some places will give you a hard time and try to deny you warranty coverage if you start modifying your car.

Its said though that Audi must prove that the after market part was the cause of failure for said part. If they cannot prove it then theoretically they cannot deny you warranty coverage.

Nice ride. Congrats. Wheels and springs should not void your warranty. It may void some of suspension components if they can prove that your aftermarket springs led to the failure. That being said, I highly recommend upgrading your shocks while you have the springs off. The stockers are not made to handle the lowered height and will blow sooner than later and you will end up having to pay for install all over again (unless you DIY). Plus the ride will be a little bouncy.

If I recall correctly, staggered rims will mess up the differential on a quattro car.

I didn't like Town Motors...although they had a sweet Imola Yellow Avant I would of died for but ended up with a B6 from Trend Motors, never deal with Trend!!!
