Check out Vredestein Tyres.. You won't be disappointed by the price nor the quality!

I can hook you up with the direct distributor for them, his name is Mike and is local to me, if you would like to talk to him let me know.

    Re: Tire Recomondation

I get these Nokian tires on my car right now with this crazy pattern siping. According to the reviews it makes for an excellent winter tire. The tire is a all-season radial. It is a little pricey, but it is made of a softer compound and is very grippy!

Well here in Quebec Canada, You won't be able to use all season tires anymore...new law in 08. So if you plan on using two sets of tires:

winter: Nokian Hakkapeliita, best winter tire I've tried hands down.
summer: avon m500, good all aroung tire for the price $85 for 19" on tirerack.com

    Nokian WR's????

Supposedly it is a excellent winter tire for an all-season, but compared to say the Hakka RSI's, it's no where near the performance-- of course, that's the compromise with all-season tires.

No experience with the ones you posted... but I have been using Michelin Pilot Sport AS for a few years now.. awesome in the snow, rain, dirt, and dry pavement... great wear as well.. worth the extra money IMHO

    Re: Tire Recomondation

i just bought a set of Continental Contiextreme Contacts from tirerack. installed they cost me $537. they are supposed to be one of the best all-season tires, they have gotten really good reviews on tirerack so i guess ill see. so far they have been as expected. havent had to drive in any rain or snow yet, but that will be changing in a few months. rainy season starts in october here in portland and goes until may, plus i ski a lot up at the mountain. hopefully these tires do the job.

    Re: Tire Recomondation

I can't really help with the tires you have listed and if you can accept they won't perform excellent in any one type of road condition then good luck with the decision but if not...
I hate to sound pessimistic, but an "all season" tire is really a "no season" tire. I for one have only owned the OME P6's or Falken 512's (I'd pick the P6's over the falkens) as all season tires. I dislike the way they drive/handle/feel etc.

If you have a little extra cash I'd pick up a spare set of rims (for summer or as winter rims) and get dedicated tires for each set/season. I love the grip of the winter tires in the snow/ice and then switch to the summer performance tires the rest of the time.

DO NOT get the Yoko YK520s! I've got them on my Regal and they SUCK. Ok in the snow, everything else they're terrible.

    Re: Tire Recomondation

Yea i'm looking for a decent WET/DRY set of tires right now too. 225/40 R18. Preferrably under $120 a tire. I plan on a winter set of tires on stock rims as well.
